Review of Sunrise at Campobello (1960) by Greg W — 13 Aug 2011
Sunrise at Campobello is an outstanding film. It is about Franklin Roosevelt's bout with polio at age 40 in 1921 and how his family copes with the illness. Ralph Bellamy and Greer Garson give amazing performances.
The screenplay is well written and touching. Vincent J. Donehue did a great job directing this movie. I enjoyed watching this motion picture because of the drama and history.
