Review of Sunday Bloody Sunday (1971) by Private U — 08 Jul 2007
I have a hard time with 70's cinema 'classics' sometimes. This one is notable as being the first film to show 2 men having sex together. It's also likely one of the very first films to deal with a bisexual love triangle in such a matter of fact way.
The end result, however, is just messy and, at times, just plain annoying.
Glenda Jackson gives a strong performance (and the male leads hold up well), but the movie ended and I don't know how much I cared about any of them.
