If you are a baseball fan, you will like this movie. The story follows Miguel "Sugar" Santos from the Dominican Republic to minor league ball in Iowa. Sugar struggles with baseball as a business, adjusting to life in rural Iowa, and the stress of providing for his family back home.
I thought I was going to be disappointed in the ending, but was surprised as Sugar rediscovers his love for the game.
