Review of Stranger Than Paradise (1984) by Non-Touch R — 16 Jan 2011
Stranger Than Paradise made me say "It's not boring to watch other people's boring lives." A great film that deals with a bit of luck and destiny. The trio led us in some adventure, though they feel bored, we feel interested.
They've got nothing better to do in one place so they went on a ride to Florida for some fun and ended up not so right. It was awesome, the way it ended. The film is funny in a way that it does not have a story, just riding with the not-so-clever characters, maybe they're dumb or something.
In every change of scene, there's a short stop in black (which is original) and then it continues with another one straight shot then goes black again for three to four seconds and in the last scene you're anticipating for another but it's finish, that's a wonderful feeling, being interested in this nowhere to go story.
