Review of Starman (1984) by Reiyan B — 16 Oct 2009

Such a special (almost "little") movie. I don't think most people have heard of this one. There's something really magical about Karen Allen here. You'd never think of her as a movie star.

But she really shines here. It makes me believe that she's been ridiculously underused as an actress. And Jeff Bridges: I don't know many other actors who would seem as believable as an alien as he is, but at the same time so "human.

" It's just a really great love story with terrific pacing and a lot of feeling.
