A special effects spectacular on a grand scale. This reworking of The Wrath of Khan is engrossing and imaginative. The main crew of the Enterprise all exceed their limitations at some point in the movie, making them more heroic and deepening our affection for the characters.
I really liked Dr. Marcus (Alice Eve) too. Cumberbatch is awesome as Khan. You feel he is playing with the crew the entire movie. This movie is brilliant and fun to watch.
