A Thin Man knock-off with William Powell's Clay Dalzell expertly aping his very own Nick Charles (well, he ought to be able to rip off his own character, right?). Ginger Rogers stands in for Myrna Loy, playing a spunkier, less refined Nora.

The central mystery ends up being nothing special, but these films were always more about the interplay between Powell and his lady, and with that in mind it's a perfectly amusing diversion sure to be of interest to the Thin Man fan.
