Review of Stander (2003) by Jason W — 25 May 2008
Jane is terrific in this true story of a cop-turned-bank-robber in Apartheid-era South Africa. Bronwen Hughes handles the character interplay well and the setting is excellent. There's a truncated feeling to the middle (over-editing?), but this is a fun, well considered film.
Even the accents are spot on.
