I really wanted to like this movie more. However there is not enough buildup to the background story or the main villain's character and his motives. A lot of the tension and drama is lost on the editing table, with many scenes cut off seemingly abruptly.

This makes the story, the scenes and the whole movie seem disjointed. Add to that that some of the action is simply idiotic, even if visually well executed. This movie would really benefit from an extended "Director's Cut" to show it's true potential, which is now lost somewhere between the scenes.
