Review of Spanglish (2004) by Nesip N — 31 Aug 2008
One of the best human dramas I have seen. Adam Sandler, who usually does shallow comedy, shows a completely different side of his skills by doing a deep, compelling character study. Leoni and Vega's wonderful performances gel with and complement Sandler perfectly.
Not a shallow and uncomplex easy romance movie where everything unfolds perfectly, but a great depiction of how difficult things can be in a realistic adult world.
