Review of Soul Man (1986) by Mark G — 09 Apr 2005
:fresh: :fresh: :fresh: :fresh: :fresh: [font=Comic Sans MS][size=3]This will only work on film. In real life the Democrats and Liberials would demand his head on a platter. Many feel that it was an insult.
Many need to lighten up. This is hardly an offensive film. There is some strong comentary, on how people belived that, at the time the film was made, raceisim was a thing of the past. "It's the Cosby decade.
" Our hero says. At first he never really notices it but begins to learn a hard lesson. I'm guessing that thoes that say, they were offended by it, never saw it or they didn't "get it.
