Review of Soul Food (1997) by Janel C — 23 Jun 2007
The nearly all-star cast brings out the heart-felt story line even more. the characters are well rounded and it's as though they're people you know. I really have to admire the kid, even when it all seemed hopeless he didnt give up his gramma's request, and even more so, the way the family comes together even when they could have more easily let their problems fester and themselves grow apart.
it deals with real issues, in any community. and who doesn't love soul food?
