Review of Somebody Up There Likes Me (2013) by Terri H — 17 Nov 2008
It's a B level boxing movie. It just so happens to have been directed by Robert Wise and stars a Paul Newman who is out to prove he's a contender in Hollywood. The result is a movie that never really surprises you, but you love it anyways.
The first half is kick in the guts authentic and plays more like a gangster film. Second half is one of the great boxing films.
