I think its tragic that this movie was handled the way it was. The fans were so toxic that Disney didn't even try to market it after the whole director debacle.

Solo is one of my absolute favorite Star Wars stories. Ron Howard came in after the failed director and freaking NAILED it. He was brought in as a ringer and totally knocked it out of the park. I suggest any fan of Star Wars that enjoyed Rogue One, to really watch this film. It has a lot of really great fan service. And if that's not your thing, then this movie isn't for you.

I feel like with Solo and Last Jedi it really split the fan base. You either accept that is a changing universe with multiple stories to tell and that it's not the "same" Star Wars. OR, you hate it because it doesn't appeal to YOUR head canon.
