I really liked the first Smokin' Aces film and this direct to DVD prequel isn't as good. At first I thought I was going to hate this film, because you can tell it's low quality and is trying to really cool like the first film, but as it went on I realized it's just a fairly fun and entertaining film.
Nothing is special or new in this film and its very forgettable, but I did enjoy this film for what is was. Overall not a "good" film, but I did think it was entertaining and fun.
