Review of Smokin' Aces 2: Assassins' Ball (2010) by Ken P — 23 Dec 2010
Through the maze of colorfull explosions a bunch of extremist characters take you on a journey into an assassination plot seen from the bad guys' point of view. They stop at nothing, they never give up and the story evolves through a chaos that's a style on its own; let alone the split screens, pauses and so on. The premice is simple and way too similar to the first movie in every aspect (very disappointing). Lovely music which here and there made me think of Tarantino's style and great musicless action scenes.
Oh and exploding clowns!
