Review of Sleepwalking (2008) by Connor _ — 14 Mar 2010
Dreary, but very good. Nick Stahl gives his best performance yet as the unprepared uncle of AnnaSophia Robb, who also gave the performance of her career. Dennis Hopper and Charlize Theron give some of their best performances I've seen so far.
And just to be fair, Woody Harrelson was good too. The screenplay is creative and the film is very well executed. The developement and change of each character throughout the film is incredibly well written.
The cinematography excellently portrays the dull, saddening mood of the film. The ending is very cleverly done, and unexpected. 8.8/10.
