Review of Slashers (2001) by Private U — 06 Jun 2008
This is basically a low-budget knock off of The Running Man, but its pretty well done (even though this is a B-Movie). The pacing is good and some of the plot devices (ie: the commercials) are pretty cool.
The acting in this movie (aside from the actual Slashers) is borderline atrocious. If you see this on a shelf somewhere and aren't turned off by either low-budget or b-movies, do yourself a favour, slap this baby down on the counter and tell the clerk you are GAME!
