Review of Skyline (2010) by Lethalwolf — 28 Mar 2011

This is a brilliant attempt at the sci fi genre. the story was nice and believable. there are no major actors in this one but they do their part well. the CGI aliens are well don. the directors definitely took different steps to what you are used to.

there is no average joe turning into a superhero and doing all sort of risky, unbeliebale stuff. it's just 5 people trapped and trying to make it alive as the military being overwhelmed and outdone by the aliens technology and force.

You can't help wonder throughout the movie if humanity can withstand this attack. unlike Battle LA or independence day were you know that eventually manking will prevail, skyline keeps you guessing which is a nice change.

the ending is left open so am sure a sequel could be expected.
