Review of Shoot 'Em Up (2007) by Nick G — 16 Sep 2010

This is a very "love it or hate it" type of movie. It's implausible, illogical, preposterous, ridiculous, and just outright dumb. Yet, it knows exactly what it is, and makes no attempt at trying to hide it, from the purposefully cheesy one-liners to the hard rock/heavy metal-based soundtrack played against constant barrages of violence.

And once it starts, it doesn't take a moment to relax. People may find these aspects of the movie as to what makes it terrible. But, if you basically just roll with it, like I did, and just enjoy it for the ridiculousness that it is, you'll have a lot of fun.
