Review of Shock Treatment (1981) by Charles N — 11 Oct 2012
One of the most underated misunderstood masterpieces of the last few decades. A campy stage production like effort to show the dangers of old time values meeting fast lane commercialism. An idea that sparks the essence of Shock Treatment, the movie where you cannot trust the doctor.
The plot is not the focus but rather becomes the vocal for bizarre but somehow endeering tunes. If you are expecting another Rocky Horror Show please don't you'll be in for a shock, this movie is to be treated with a different mind set.
Trust me I am a reviewer this one is worth a watch.
