Review of Shimmer Lake (2017) by Don N — 14 Jun 2017
Underrated film that will be seen by few, which is a shame considering how good it is. A story told in the vein of Memento that knows how to cleverly and methodically unravel a mystery by slowly deconstructing itself over the course of its 83 minute run-time.
A screen writer for Heist and 22 Jump Street, Orien Uziel has shown his potential with his directorial debut in Shimmer Lake. I very much look forward to seeing his future films with his talent.
