Review of Shifty (2008) by Lady D — 20 Nov 2009

Good... but that's about it, unfortunately. Had higher hopes after the string of great reviews. It's funny, it's well acted and some terrific on-screen chemistry is portrayed by Mays and Ahmed, but it's story - although miles above that Danny Dyer drab - is unremarkable and one or two questions were left unanswered come the end.

Still, having been made for just £100,000 you've got to give the rookie director and producer their props for banging out something as solid as this.
