Review of Sherlock Jr. (1924) by Brendan G — 11 Nov 2008
I've always been more of a fan of Buster Keaton's comedies than anyone else. He does some fantastic things with his story and he could say sentences with his facial expressions. Added with the fact that he does all of the stunts him self is just mind blowing to me. To me, this film doesn't really get off the ground until the just terrific dream sequence. It's not like everything before that point is awful, it's just cute is all. It's not groundbreaking and as memorable as the rest of the film.
Great way to end any film.
