Review of Shelter (2007) by Kevin T — 15 Sep 2008
I think the movie was honest. It's hard to just come out after living on your closet for almost your entire life. It's refreshing. Not the typical gay movie you would see that depicts the "hard" (no pun intended), often overly portrayed, life of a gay person.
It's moving. The characters are real. It's really true that knowing one's self helps you succeed in everything you want in life; self awareness and discovery brings you peace that will help you get the inspiration you need to accomplish what you are passionate about because.
It makes meaning in your life to find that path only and especially just for you.
