Shaun of the Dead manages to surpass expectations in terms of humor, as much as it makes you care for it's characters; it's style and personality are nothing short of amazing, and the zombie bashing fun and gore never lets down.
That it even manages to be genuinely scary and satirical at times is just a big bonus.
