The Shanghai of the 40's has been very well captured. In fact the selling point of the movie in my opinion. Not to forget some good dialouges. John Cusack & Chow Yun-Fat fit the roles of the American spy and the Chinese crime lord (respectively) to perfection.
Li Gong is pretty as ever. Ken Watanabe impresses as well. 3/5. Can watch.
