Review of Sarfarosh (1999) by Sudhir S — 02 Feb 2008
The only serious Hindi film of its time. Sarfarosh cuts out all the unnecessary dishum-dishum, la-la-la-la and muuah-muuah. Although there is a love story roped in too, it blends in perfectly with the genre and instead of providing gay songs to ease the tension of the movie (like most films have), there are a few comedy bits in correct proportions.
It's one of the finest films (yes, out of all Hindi and International films) I've seen and I recommend everyone with good taste and don't-take-shit attitude to watch it.
