Review of Santa Claus (1959) by Aleksandra X — 08 Sep 2007
Alien vs Predator? Freddy vs Jason? They all pale in comparison to this stinker, the original promotional title of which was "Santa vs Satan." That's right, kids, finally a movie in which you get to see the ultimate battle between creepy and even more creepy, as a man clad in a red leotard attempts to sabotage the efforts of a fat old Mexican in a Santa suit, who just so happens to live in a space station with a horde of third world slave children who are there to make toys, all the while being watched by hyena-like mechanical reindeer, while Santa himself observes every child on Earth with the aid of a giant mind-reading telescope.
No, not disturbing at all!
