Review of Samson and Delilah (2009) by Emily V — 15 Apr 2010
This quiet film had that unnerving ability to uncover some of my own cultural and racial judgements with uncomfortable clarity. It is one of the most confronting, and cultually dissturbing films I have ever seen without ever straying from a it's gentle and deeply rooted sense of romance.
In terms of Australian cinema I can't imagine a film that could be done any better.
