Review of Salesman (1969) by Dustin F — 30 Dec 2007
A groundbreaking documentary, in my opinion. Finally, we see the underbelly of the traveling retail gig...and with bibles nonetheless. The lead, Paul, is just an endearing character. You just feel more and more sorry for the poor guy as the story unfolds.
It seems to be rather prophetic for its time. Poor, old faith-binding men selling over-expensive goods to other poor faith-bound people.
