Review of Salesman (1969) by Kevin M — 10 Dec 2009
Rollin' around the East Coast with a pessimistic Irish Catholic bible salesman who loves show tunes. You can practically smell the fog in the dingy motel rooms from all the chain-smoked Marlboros. Best moment: A creepy fellow blasting a muzak version of "Yesterday" to flush the salesmen from his house, while his wife signs away money for her brand new $50 bible.
Once the crew leaves, he plays the song again, even louder. Arthur Miller could never invent this stuff.
