Review of Rushmore (1998) by Matthew M — 15 May 2010
I don't care what people say; Wes Anderson has never made a bad movie, and I hope he never does. The Anderson shtick isn't getting hackneyed; it's refreshing and amazing everytime. His eye for detail and ear for dead pan humor is undeniable.
So far this is his best work. I love Schwartzman and Murray in this movie. Some of the funniest stuff I've ever heard. Just thinking about it now puts this stupid smile on my face.
