Review of Rush: Beyond the Lighted Stage (2010) by Vickie P — 17 Aug 2010
This was the best use of 1 hour and 47 minutes spent on a movie for me in a really long time. All I knew about Rush was what I had heard on the radio, never been a fan really, however, after seeing this I am and will be working to get my hands on everything they have ever done.
What is amazing about this documentary is that they have a ton of original concert footage and pictures way back to the start of the band. The movie is laced with video from Rush playing high school dances to their many tours before they hit it really big. It's also really cool that they are Canadian and that they are so highly respected by so many.
