Review of Run Fatboy Run (2007) by Marissa C — 11 Jul 2009
It's funny that in American movies, the Brit is almost always the jerky new boyfriend of the ex-lover and in this Brit-dominated film (directed by an American) the most lovable of American actors, Hank Azaria, plays the jerky new boyfriend - and convincingly so.
I've never felt like I wanted to punch Hank Azaria for being a douchebag...there's a first. Also a first for me, is the comedic genius of Dylan Moran, as the affable, inappropriate best friend.
Pegg, of course, is the real star and remains genuine and charming throughout. Heart-warming and hilarious, smart and fun - I'd watch it again for sure :).
