The best film of 2018 that almost no one saw.
Ruben Brandt, Collector is a thoughtful exploration of both psychology and art history through a unique and gorgeous visual style and a clever heist plot. Anyone interested in the history of art and/or cinema will enjoy the many well-placed references throughout this film. Anyone who enjoys thrillers or heist films will enjoy the tightly paced action and suspense of the main plot, while also learning a thing or two along the way.
