Review of Rosetta (1999) by Chris S — 16 Jun 2008
In this world where poverty is common, a young woman tries so hard to survive, deals with a lot of obstacles and problems almost everyday and is desperate for a normal job, food and shelter. She even does something selfish and unexpected to someone else in order to get a job.
There isn't much dialogue, and it is quite hard to watch at first but it is still a great film, if not as exceptional as L'Enfant.
