Review of Rosenstrasse (2003) by Alicia K — 27 Jun 2008
Before seeing this film, I'd never heard of the protest at Rosenstrasse. The story is told in a fluid manner, as it goes from memory to memory. It was interesting to watch the motherly relationship between Lena and Ruth.
This is a powerful film that shows the strength that women can have when they refuse to back down.
