Review of Ron White: They Call Me Tater Salad (2004) by Some G — 20 Jun 2010
A country boy WILL survive!
Ron White is my favourite of the blue collar comedy guys. He doesn`t force the redneck thing...he just does what he does. Much like Bill Engval but I like Ron better. Jeff Foxworthy`s pretty good but the redneck thing wears thin after a while (I`m not saying he`s bad...he`s got other hilarious stuff too, I just hate when that`s all he does). Larry The Cable Guy...not my favourite...we`ll leave it at that.
Ron gets up on stage and talks about the things that happen to him that he sarcastically deals with in his life from over-priced sunglasses (That apparrently get cable) His family, trouble with the law and his dog Sluggo. They`re mostly the same jokes form other shows he does but the way he delivers them leaves you wanting more. He`s got a delivery better than dominos when you`re stoned off your gourd.
