Rocketman is a nice love letter to Elton John's life and music career. Through Taron Egerton's great performcance and the strong writing audiences are able to easily emphasize with Elton's traumatic upbringing.
This makes his journey to music stardom throughout the movie that much more impactful and enjoyable.
