Review of Robin Hood (2010) by Andrew I — 03 Dec 2011
Ridley Scott's Robin Hod is the most accurate adaptation to date. It's more brutal than previous takes on the legend telling the story of how Robin Hood became an outlaw. Although it's a little confused and could do with some more action, Scott's clever idea for the plot proves an effective technique.
Russell Crowe looks very like what Robin might of looked like, but he's too wimpy and emotional to be a great outlaw. Still it's a fine adventure even if it's no Gladiator. A stunning blockbuster.
