Review of Road to Perdition (2002) by Kevin L — 30 Dec 2011
In my few years of habitation on this planet, it's rare that I find someone who has seen this movie, and that, to me, is a travesty. Sam Mendes's second film is a beautiful story anchored by a splendid performance from Tom Hanks.
The supporting cast is great as well with Daniel Craig and Paul Newman playing to their incredible strengths and Jude Law in an out-of-the-norm and bone-chilling adversary to Hanks. Superbly crafted and heartbreaking, this a movie I would recommend to anyone.
