Review of Ripley Under Ground (2005) by David S — 16 Apr 2011
Another great addition to the Ripley films I'm really surprised this never got a UK release as not only has it got a well established cast list but it's also a great little thriller/black comedy.
Out of the three recent film versions of Ripley novels (Talented, Game and Underground) this takes itself the least seriously and takes quite a lot of liberties with the original novel but I think it still works well and Pepper is a very engaging Ripley.
Forget about the timeline and watch this after Talented and before Game and you have a great trilogy. Worth seeking out.
