Review of Right at Your Door (2006) by James K — 27 Feb 2011
Rory Cochrane does a brilliant job of carrying the tension in this small-cast story of a man forced to seal up his home after a dirty bomb goes off in LA, only for his contaminated wife to show up and plead to be let in.
Gratifyingly low key and underplayed, this creates atmosphere really well, and you get a palatable sense of a man trying to do the right thing when he has no real idea what's going on. Great effort.
