As a story it was pretty good, not epic, but still pretty good. As a movie it has it's moments, mostly humours or sarcastic ones. But in reality it should have just stayed on print and note the screen.
Some stories are best told in one medium only. The pacing and some of the special effects are what really hurt this film. Only see if it bored.
