Review of Revengers Tragedy (2002) by Nicholas A — 30 Aug 2008
Granted Alex Cox's films don't always work but I've yet to see one that isn't interesting in a slightly warped way. Revengers Tragedy is no exception, jacobean tragedy in a post-doomsday Liverpool and Eddie Izzard actually putting in a good performance, strange and intoxicating even if all the pieces don't quite fit together it's still a great ride.
