An outstanding movie. One of the best from nutcase Werner Herzog. He certainly seems to do his best work when out in the wild (preferably the jungle), and this is no exception.
Christian Bale is excellent as Dengler, managing to stray away from the silly voice that he does in Batman - although possible he was chosen for his ability to lose weight. The rest of the cast, story and look of the film are all top notch. Pisses on 'The Great Escape'.
