Review of Red Riding Hood (2011) by Nick C — 26 Feb 2012
Red Riding hood has its faults, among which are very uneven acting on the part of the two younger male leads and some others, but is has some great aspects: A killer soundtrack, wonderful visuals, an complex plot, if a bit cliche in places, and lots of sexy and intense scenes which make it very worthwhile imo.
I found it to be artistically and visually great overall. The pace and the emotion will grab you and lead you in. Amanda Seyfried, was very good for the most part. Julie Christie was amazing as were many others.
This is Little Red Riding Hood as you have never seen it before :).
