Review of Red Hill (2010) by Chiek E — 26 Oct 2012
Amazing Aussie movie. So refreshingly different from the usual Hollywood fare. Not a new theme though. Aboriginals victimized by racist white Aussies. This story is about a escaped convict aboriginal, framed for murder 15 years ago. He's out for revenge, killing those who slaughtered his family. Silent, ruthless, deadly was he until the last moment where he was gunned down. He broke his silence with his dying words to Ryan Kwanten' I was expecting my unborn son'.
Nice to hear Ryan Kwanten speak in his native accent rather than his fake Tennessee accent we come to know so well in True Blood.
