Review of Rebound: The Legend of Earl 'The Goat' Manigault (1996) by Roger B — 04 Jun 2008
The straightforward style added little drama to this exposition on one of the best basketball players ever, earl "the goat" manigault. the basketball scenes were good. manigault had his flaws, and it was difficult to watch as he made bad decision after another.
it was hard to find a redeeming message; even the end where manigault passes the torch to the next generation it seemed to suggest that talents such as his were transient, unstable and squandering them as he did should have no greater consequence.
